Here we go: it’s the official release of The Hood Internet vs Chicago. We’ve got 23 completely new jams for you, 24 if you count the intro. Some of the artists on here have been in Chicago for a minute, some are relatively recent transplants, and some have even moved away — but at one point or another, they called Chicago home. And yes, there are a few cameos from some non-Chicagoans, but seeing as they were already part of the track(s) in question, they’re like friends of friends, you know?

I still think that Mix Tape Vol. 2 is the best. I’ll have to see if this one grows on me.

I listened this the entire 16 hour trip from Milwaukee to Stamford. Can’t wait to hear it.
